Playable’s launch of the Klaviyo integration will enable marketeers to add video content to their email templates with ease, to create autoplay video email campaigns. These highly immersive video email campaigns, in A/B split tests, are consistently outperforming campaigns featuring still images, across all the key response and engagement metrics, with particularly good results across eRetail campaigns where 50% uplift in CTR is consistently achieved.

Playable’s analysis of over 10 million video emails, sent by eRetailers in the final quarter of 2019, showed that not only was response improved, but also conversions at check-out improved, when compared to still image campaigns.

It was this strong performance of video email across eRetail which sparked Klaviyo’s interest, and ultimately led to Klaviyo partnering with Playable to enable all Klaviyo users to add autoplay video to their email campaigns.

The partnership links the patented video technology from Playable with the Klaviyo Marketing Platform to enable Klaviyo users to add autoplay video clips to their campaigns, which works across all email clients, all devices and all email connections.
