Create a newsletter in GetResponse in the normal way using the Drag and Drop Email Editor.

2. Newsletter set up

Proceed to add a message name and a subject line and select “Next Step

We can now select the template for our campaign.

We have opted for the Non-Profit donations template, as the image at the head of this template is a perfect spot for us to position our video content.

3. Selecting the position for your video content

The template we selected is now shown in the Template Editor. We can add blocks, delete blocks and edit the content in the normal way.

As we Edit our template we need to decide on a position for our video content.

Once we have decided we place an image block in this position.

We have opted to use the pre-set image at the head of our template. We hover over this to reveal the dimensions of the image, we will use these later to size our video content.

Once we are happy with our template we select “HTML Editor” at the foot of the page.

4. HTML Editor

When prompted we select “Yes, continue“.

We can now see the HTML for our template.

Within this we locate and highlight the image tag for the image we are going to replace with our video content.

For now we are finished in GetResponse.
